A buddy of mine recently ordered me a bottle of Red Drop from Mountain Oak Vapors. This is their take on a Raspberry Limeade type flavor. They describe it as"... a tart & sour limeade with a healthy splash of raspberry, the combination makes for a refreshingly flavorful vape!"
Lemon and lime e-liquids are all different. Some are sour and refreshing while others come off tasting like Lemon Pledge. Mountain Oak has come up with a nice, crisp and tart lime which works really well blended with raspberry. Both flavors are equally represented but I think the tartness is a touch more powerful than the sweetness. It works for me and I plan on ordering more.
This is not something I can vape in every tank because I can only take so much sour. For me this flavor is more of an alternate... I use my regulars for a day or two and then vape a tank of this to mix things up. Regardless, it is refreshingly sweet, sour and delicious! Also Red Drop is only available in 50vg/50pg so you get a bit more of a throat hit and the flavor is really pronounced.

Best Grape E-Liquid, E-Juice, Vape
Ahlusion comes through again with another great e-juice flavor! This one is called Grape Vine and it is now one of my favorites. I have tried many grapes over the years and most taste like grape candy. When I first started vaping I got hooked on the grape cartridges from V2 but since then I have progressed to bigger and better set ups and never really found another grape e-liquid that I was in love with.
I received Grape Vine as a free sample with my qualifying $25+ order from Ahlusion (great incentive to buy more and try new flavors). The site described it as "...a smooth, naturally sweetened grape flavored juice... there are absolutely no artificial coloring added." I was instantly hooked on its subtle sweetness and true grape flavor. Think concord grapes off the vine... Not candy or Kool-aid style grape and not overpowering. Since the initial order I have re-ordered several times and I have a feeling this one will stay in my rotation for a long time.
Vape Junkie is not affiliated with Ahlusion or get any free swag from them other than the samples which anyone gets if they ask, I just really like their flavors and would love to see them available at local vape shops so I don't always have to order online. Their online experience was a bit unpredictable but lately orders have been processed and shipped very quick.

9 South Vapes "Cereal Killa" review
Even though this flavor does not fit my normal profile, I had to give in to the hype and buy a bottle of Cereal Killa. By hype I mean that EVERYONE ON THE INTERNET loves it and every time my local vape shop gets a shipment in, it is gone in a few days.
On their website, 9 South Vapes description reads "Feeling nostalgic? This milky fruity vape will definitely take you back to your saturday morning cartoon days! The Hype is Real..." This translates to a bowl of Fruity Pebbles or the milk that is left after eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. I used to love that cereal but don't really get into milk vapor.
So anyways, I bought a bottle the other day and must say the flavor is pretty much spot on what I remember Fruity Pebbles tasting like and pretty delicious. The milk or creamy part is definitely noticeable but not overpowering. It is only available in 90vg with 4mg of nicotine. The throat hit is not bad for this mix. The high vg makes it a visibly thick liquid with clouds to match. I don't love it nearly as much as the rest of the internet but there is something to it that keeps bringing me back. I was caught off guard by this flavor because down deep I wanted to hate it but for some reason I couldn't. Definitely not one of my favorite juices but I can understand the hype a bit more now.

Beantown Vapor "Woodstock" Rootbeer Float eliquid review
In an endless search for great root beer flavored eliquid I came across this rootbeer float flavor at my local vape shop. I'd give you the back story but their website is currently down. I remember reading that they created it based on a root beer they really liked from a local craft brewery. You can read the story for yourself when their website comes back up if you like. On with the review...
I like it. It is a good tasting root beer with a bit of cream. I am by no means a cream huffing cloud chaser but I am not turned off by the cream finish or clouds this 70vg juice delivers. Personally, I would prefer they left the cream out altogether because I think it smoothes out the flavor a bit too much. The "rooty" flavors are strong... maybe a bit heavy on the licorice but it works for me. Not something I can vape all day but it remains in my rotation and I would recommend it to anyone searching for a decent rootbeer e-juice flavor.

Five Pawns Gambit Review
The other day I was talking about e-liquids with a friend who has been vaping a lot longer than I have. When I told him that apple was one of my favorite flavors he told me I had to check out a liquid called Gambit by Five Pawns. When I saw the price ($27.50 for 30ml) I was a little bit hesitant but he assured me that these were high quality e-liquids. Based on his recommendation, I ordered a bottle of Gambit (50pg/50vg 12mg nicotine) and to my surprise it was in my mailbox 2 days later. Super fast shipping since they are in California and I am on the East Coast.
GAMBIT is described as "classic, mellow apple pie makes a sweet and savory impression with flaky crust and decadent caramel, lightened by a dollop of French vanilla ice cream and unsweetened whipped cream." After a couple of puffs I could tell they nailed it! I could taste everything they described and in proper proportions. The apple is light but noticable and the unsweetened whipped cream is the perfect finishing touch. The rich and delicious flavor combined with the sophisticated packaging made me instantly feel like I had made a good purchase. Not to mention the priority shipping. I'm not sure if I will vape this all day, every day. Its more like a treat to be enjoyed from time to time like a big slice of apple pie ala mode. Great job Five Pawns!

Ahlusion E-Liquid Review
I the past couple of weeks I have tried some new e-liquid brands and figured its about time to share my thoughts again. Based on some favorable reviews and recommendations I decided to give Ahlusion e-liquids a try. I ordered 3 flavors and since my order was over $25 I also requested a free sample. The flavors I got were Cherry Cola, Apple Berry Splash, and Orange Creamsicle. The sample I requested was W&A Sasaparilla. I ordered 10ml size with a 50pg/50vg mix and 12mg nicotine.
AHLUSION CHERRY COLA is described as "A smooth and sweet Cola with a Cherry twist." That is a pretty accurate description. Mine was a little sweeter than normal since I added sweetner in my order. I enjoy cola e-liquids and this one tastes good straight out of the envelope The flavors were blended well, no need to let em steep. I did get more than a cherry twist though. To me the cherry flavor was a bit too strong but not in a way that ruined the liquid. I just prefer Cola to be the dominant flavor. All in all I was pleased with this e-liquid and went through the bottle in no time.
APPLE BERRY SPLASH is described as "A refreshing, naturally sweet and crisp Strawberry Apple blend." Once again the description is spot on. I love green apple e-liquid but since Ahlusion does not offer one I decided to give this a try. It is sweet and I get equal parts Strawberry and Apple. If you like your vapes sweet and fruity, give this a try. I have already ordered another bottle.
ORANGE CREAMSICLE is described as "A sweet all natural Creamsicle flavor." I don't know if that is an accurate description. After reading a bunch of great reviews I was really excited to give this a try. The orange flavor is very powerful and not very natural tasting. It is an intense orange which overpowers any creamy flavors in this blend. Maybe I am just not a fan of orange vapes because this tasted nothing like a creamsicle to me.
W&A SASPARILLA No flavor description here but you have to assume they are going for A&W Root Beer. This was my sample flavor I requested and they sent a full 10ml bottle. THANK YOU! When I first got it the root beer flavor was very noticeable but as time went on it faded into more of a Cola with a hint of Root Beer. I'm not mad. I love it both ways! This may not satisfy those looking for an intense Root Beer flavor but I find it crisp and enjoyable. One of my current favorite e-liquids.
(for a more traditional root beer flavor see my BWB review)
As mentioned above I have placed a second order with Ahlusion and will post a review/update soon. Ordering from their website is easy, shipping is fairly quick and a full size (10ml) sample for orders over $25 is just plain awesome!
